Development Review Committee (DRC)
The Development Review Committee (DRC) for the City of Eustis is a collaborative team of city staff and external agencies that evaluates land development proposals to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This committee plays a pivotal role in reviewing site plans, subdivisions, conditional use permits, and other development applications.
Key Functions:
- Conducting pre-application meetings to provide guidance on project feasibility and approval processes.
- Assessing compliance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations.
- Coordinating with external agencies such as Lake County Public Works and the Florida Department of Transportation when applicable.
- Providing feedback and recommendations to applicants to facilitate the development process.
Meetings are typically held weekly, as needed, on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise noted. These meetings are open to the public and are held at Eustis City Hall.
