Development Review Committee (DRC)
The Development Review Committee (DRC) for the City of Eustis is a collaborative team of city staff and external agencies that evaluates land development proposals to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This committee plays a pivotal role in reviewing site plans, subdivisions, conditional use permits, and other development applications.
Key Functions:
Conducting pre-application meetings to provide guidance on project feasibility and approval processes.
Assessing compliance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations.
Coordinating with external agencies such as Lake County Public Works and the Florida Department of Transportation when applicable.
Providing feedback and recommendations to applicants to facilitate the development process.
The DRC typically meets weekly, as needed, on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise noted. These meetings are open to the public and are held at Eustis City Hall.
